1. Who we are

Canales Whatsapp (https://canaleswpp.com) is an independent directory of public WhatsApp channels, owned by OVENETWORK, S.L. (tax ID B-98913742), C/ Virgen de la Paz 17, 46900 Torrent (Valencia), Spain. Full details are in our Legal Notice.

We are not affiliated with WhatsApp LLC or Meta Platforms, Inc. We do not run the channels listed here, and we do not control what gets posted inside them.

Using the site means accepting these terms. If you disagree with them, do not use it.

2. What you can do

  • Browse, search and filter the directory, free and without signing up.
  • Follow the links to WhatsApp channels.
  • Suggest channels through the submission form.
  • Report problems on any listing.
  • Save favourites, stored only in your browser.

3. What content we accept, and what we do not

When you suggest a channel you are sending us content. We do not publish channels that:

  1. Contain or spread sexually explicit material or pornography, in line with the WhatsApp Channels Guidelines.
  2. Contain child sexual exploitation material in any form. These cases are also reported to the competent authorities.
  3. Promote violence, terrorism, hatred or discrimination on grounds of race, origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, disability or any other condition.
  4. Spread scams, pyramid schemes, phishing, crypto fraud or any other fraud.
  5. Sell or promote illegal goods or services: drugs, weapons, forged documents, prescription-free medicines or pirated software.
  6. Infringe third-party intellectual or industrial property rights, including impersonating brands or people.
  7. Publish other people's personal data without their consent.
  8. Impersonate a person, company, media outlet or institution.
  9. Link to anything other than a public WhatsApp channel, or whose link does not work.
  10. Duplicate channels already in the directory.
  11. Otherwise breach Spanish or European Union law.

We also reserve the right not to publish channels whose quality, description or categorisation would not give users useful information.

4. How we review and moderate

Every submission goes through human review before publication. We do not publish automatically. We do use automated means for narrow tasks: anti-bot systems on the forms, rate limits per IP address, link format validation and duplicate checks. None of those systems decides on its own whether a channel is published or removed.

At any time we may reject a submission, edit its description or category without altering the channel's own official description, temporarily suspend a listing while we check a report, or remove a listing permanently.

The usual reasons for removal are: the channel no longer exists or its link stopped working, it breaches section 3, or its owner asks us to take it down.

5. How to report illegal or incorrect content

Notice and action mechanism — art. 16 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065.

Every listing has a report button. It is free, needs no account and works by electronic means. So that we can act, please tell us:

  • The specific listing or link you are referring to.
  • A sufficient explanation of why you consider the content illegal or incorrect.
  • Your email address, optional, if you want us to confirm receipt and tell you our decision. Without it we still review your report, but we cannot reply.
  • A statement that you believe in good faith that the information in your notice is accurate and complete.

What happens next: we review every notice diligently, in a non-arbitrary and non-discriminatory way. If you left an email address, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt without undue delay and, once we reach a decision, we will inform you of it and of the redress available to you.

6. If we remove your channel: your right to know why

Statement of reasons — art. 17 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065.

If we remove, hide or restrict a listing you submitted, and we have your contact details, we will tell you what we did and since when, the facts we relied on, whether automated means were used in detecting it or deciding, the specific clause of these Terms or the legal rule we based it on, and how to challenge the decision.

How to challenge it: write to info@canaleswhatsapp.com explaining why you believe the decision is wrong. A person will review it. If you disagree with the outcome, you may turn to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body or to the courts. You may also contact Spain's Digital Services Coordinator (CNMC).

7. If you run a channel

You can ask us at any time to correct or remove your channel's listing by writing to info@canaleswhatsapp.com or through the report form. We may ask you to prove that you administer the channel before making substantial changes.

8. Accuracy of the information

We take care to keep the directory accurate, but follower counts, activity and channel availability change constantly and outside our control. Information is provided "as is", with no guarantee of lasting accuracy, and reflects what we observed at the time of the last check.

9. Suspending your access

We may limit or block access to the service, including the forms, for abusive use: bulk submissions, spam, repeated manifestly illegal submissions, or attempts to damage or circumvent the site's systems.

10. Advertising

This site is funded by advertising. Ads are identified as such and served by a third party (Google). They do not determine which channels appear in the directory or in what order.

No listing in the directory is currently paid for. Ordering follows editorial and usage criteria (relevance, visits, follower count). Should paid placements exist in the future, they will be clearly and visibly labelled as advertising.

11. Changes to these terms

We may amend these Terms. The updated version will be published on this page with its date, and significant changes will be announced on the site.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Spanish law and by European Union law. If you are a consumer, you keep the rights granted to you by the consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
